Native intergration with aegis-icons

As some may not be aware, I have taken up the aegis-icons project.

My long term goal is to hopefully see work on natively integrating aegis-icons directly into the app.

This means that one does not need to browse and download the zip folder every time, but instead the icons are already there, with the ability to add a git link to add additional icons. This is just an idea and not anything concrete.

Much of this depends on how @krisu5 feels. But at the same time, I do not want to over burden the current aegis developers.

Short term is that I am also considering inviting the current beem devs to aegis-icons to ensure that there would be others with access to the icon pack, in case I and Kristian cannot continue with development.

The long term plan would be aegis-icons would be a separate repo, transferred to beem development. The website would also be a separate repo, but just on a subdomain, maybe icons.getaegis.app

What are peoples thoughts as I am trying to work on reviving the aegis-icons project but want to go about it slowly and carefully without causing issues.

I don't think it's possible to have native intergration of aegis-icons in the app, because Beem devs don't want app to connect internet in any way. We have talk about this before, here's one such mention about that: #667 (comment)

Only way would be to have separate app, but that feels redundant IMO and Beem probably don't want to create that.

Ah thats quite understandable. The only way round that would be if the app "compiles" by using the aegis-icons repo. That way, the icons are already available and are offline in the app. Likewise, the only downside is the app will get bigger.

This would be the only way to meet the no internet requirement. Unless there is another option. But the current method is seen as "too technical" for casual users, even with explanation and such as most do not understand downloading, zip files, browse to ect. Getting them to use a password manager is seen as a massive, too complex, big thing.
