beets hanging on import

Hi, I've been using beets successfully for a while but it has recently started to hang (and needing to be interrupted by the keyboard) ever since I started importing albums in a single directory. This is the message I get after interrupting:

Having revised my configuration file, beets now imports a number of albums before hanging. Progress!

But if anyone has any ideas why it continues to hang on importing a folder with multiple albums within it...

It's a FAQ for a reason. Processing multiple albums takes time. Just be patient and it will finish sooner or later.

But since this topic started a month ago, I guess that beets has finished by now. ;-)
