When I try any beet command I get this lyrics plugin error

I tried installing "langdetect", reinstalling the plugin, updating and also reinstalling beets itself and I have no idea what's going on

I am on Nobara Linux 43, Python version 3.14.2

How did you run beets? I think that's part of what might be triggering this issue.

I was running pipx run beets, which I've found is meant to be only used for one-offs (?). By running beets from the venv directly, I haven't had an issue with the plugin not finding langdetect: /home/marco/.local/share/pipx/venvs/beets/bin/beet. This binary should be added to your PATH, and that's how it should be run.

edit: pipx ensurepath should attempt to fix PATH related issues, so you can call beet from anywhere
