zelta match - false datasets synced

Trying:

# zelta match Example
datasets synced

# zelta match Godzilla
datasets synced

# zelta match zbackup/DATA
datasets synced

BUT, host Godzilla and dataset zbackup/DATA they don't exist, and Example host don't have zbackup/DATA either.

For those I had tested before is ok, comparison happens normally, but is "datasets synced" behavior the expected result?

If I missed the RTFM, my sincere apologies.

Hey there. zelta match, describes the latest common snapshot ("MATCH") and steps through each dataset showing what's up to date and what's not. It will determine if it's "up-to-date" by GUID to be sure, but it should be obvious from the output that the source and target is up to date just by its name.

Can you anonymize the explicit and provide the exact match?

It should work something like this:
zelta match Example Godzilla
@2026-01-23_06.29.24 source only; no target dataset

zelta backup Example Godzilla
replicating 2 streams
15G sent, 5/5 streams received in 15.45 seconds

And then you can use zelta match to observe the state.
zelta match Example Godzilla
@2026-01-23_06.29.24 @2026-01-23_06.29.24 @2026-01-23_06.29.24 up-to-date

All this gets a bit fancier in the new version, but 1.0.1_1 is still a nice workhorse!
