Segment fault when mongodb.so is installed.

I have successfully installed mongodb.so by using the instructions described in https://herd.laravel.com/docs/1/advanced-usage/additional-extensions but after installing the extension I get a php segment fault error. If I comment out the extension inside php.ini the segment fault goes away.

The php version installed via brew is 8.3

I am using a MacBook Pro Apple M1 Max running macOS 14.5 (23F79)
