The Manta boards are not designed to be used with an external host. You need to put the CB1/CB2 or raspberry pi CM4 on the board and use an HDMI or depending on the host module a DSI screen.
As for the skr Mini did you flash the correct Klipper firmware on it to communicate via usb and have you verified that the usb cable you are using is properly supporting data connection?

I don't know how about Manta Ez3, but you cannot connect MCU on Manta M8P V1.0 to other hosts. There are no exposed UART or USB pins from the microcontroller. I checked the board diagram.
Only ones are exposed to the 100pin connector, where the CB1 or CM4 is.
So no, you cannot connect external Pi to the Manta M8P 1.0 to use without CB1/CB2/CM4. (again, not sure about the EZ3)

Ciao, quindi se ho capito bene, il CB1 deve essere montato per forza sulla Manta EZ3, si ho usato il firmware corretto, perchè dopo alcune prove sono riuscito a far funzionare la SKR Mini V3 con il PAD7.

@onil80 you should be able to connect the manta via usb to the pad7 and follow steps for page 30 in the manual.

@shawnchr That's not how manta boards work. The usb ports are connected to the SBC pins not the MCU. It will help to look over the Manta board's schematics to see what is connected to where.
