Historic downloads counts for a package

Hi,

Thank you a lot for sharing publicly the code to fetch the downloads stats!

I'm curious whether it's possible to find historic downloads stats for a specific package? I'm looking into the trends in the number downloads of our package multiqc. The data put into bioconda-plots (https://github.com/bioconda/bioconda-plots/blob/main/plots/multiqc/versions.json), however, is just for 2 weeks.

So I wonder if you store more historic data somewhere (maybe on a lower level of granularity - like monthly or yearly)?

I know this issue is outdated, but just as a pointer I stumbled accross an anaconda repo which seems to provide the historic download data for all packages: https://github.com/anaconda/anaconda-package-data

It's fairly easy to use, just a bit cumbersome as there does not seem to be a way to get the data for a single package (the table has to get filtered afterwards), so the data tables are very large. What I've done is to download monthly data, filter for the desired package and then merging the dataframes together.
