html <strong> or <b> tags do not show up as bold in Firefox (Windows)

I noticed that <strong> or <b> tags are not showing up as bold on Firefox on Windows (v 42.0). However, Chrome on Windows and Firefox on Mac does work. Is this a misconfigure of CSS somehow?

Hi Brian,
for example, the sentence Note, this is a Work in Progress in Glyphs HOWTO which is surrounded by <strong> tags (markdown was **) does not show up as bold on Firefox (v43.0.1 does not work either) in Windows. Let me know if you need anything else.
