The Common Science and Technology Resource Identifier (CSTR) is a Chinese PID solution. Like DOIs, CSTR identifiers are hierarchical and contain inforation about an internal 'prefix' then the internal identifier within it.

A CSTR identifier follows the specification here: https://www.cstr.cn/doc/specification with the pattern \d{5}\.\d{2}\.\w+.
