Some links are missing — suggest adding a weekly cleanup action

When visiting one of the listed pages, it returned a 404 Not Found:

Suggestion

To prevent broken links from staying around, I suggest adding a GitHub Action that runs weekly to automatically detect and remove any missing or invalid links.

Will think through the best approach here, the suggested method wouldn’t be reliable since each site behaves differently. For example, some return 500, 404, or even 200 responses where the content has changed or the repository was deleted or made private. In cases like this, the link technically still resolves (200) but points to a hidden or removed repo, so an automated check wouldn’t fully catch it.

oh for that we can use github api to get the repo status if it's a github repo and for the normal sites we add two links one for the real site and one for the github repo this is my full suggestion

1. convert everything into one json (it's a bit teadious but can be done with a macro or smth)

2. run the github action and generate 3 readmes

• by latest maintained or pushed commit
• by stars
• alphabatic

3. if there is links that can't be a repo we just leave it out of the sort or just send if 200 then we leave it (even if it's a broken at least we filtered the broken sites)
