Tooltip Implementation Discussion

Related to #1155, #1127, #1175, and #1181

The purpose of this discussion is to collect feedback on what labels need tooltips and what those tooltips should be. I've broken down the application by page/section, card/component, label/field, and element type to provide comprehensive coverage of all eligible elements.

• I originally thought that buttons likely wouldn't need tooltips, but having a tooltip available while hovering might be useful

Next Steps

Note

I've made some suggestions for certain tooltips, but I don't know if they're actually necessary. It would probably be best NOT to have too many tooltips but this is just meant to be comprehensive. The initial work for these are just my opinion and I am very open to suggestions. If this is too difficult to read I'd be happy to break each section down into its own discussion.

Please review this list and provide feedback on:

1. Proposed tooltip text
2. Corrections or improvements to proposed tooltip text
3. Any missing elements that should be included
4. Any elements that definitely don't need tooltips

Once we have consensus on the requirements, we can begin systematic implementation using the new tooltip component/directive, followed by reorganizing the values to support localization.
