Add Optical flow option to app

It would be nice to add a button to enable optical flow in the app which would make controlling the crazyflie via the app much easier

It would indeed be nice. The problem with this kind of mode is always the safety (how to stop the crazyflie if something goes wrong). What would you think about this kind of design:

• If a flow deck is detected after connection, a checkbox for hover mode is added beside the joysticks
• when in flow mode, if both finger touches the screen on the joystick, the Crazyflie takes off at 20cm
• The joysticks behaves the same way as with hover mode in the client
• if any one of the finger leaves the screen, the crazyflie still flies
• If both of the finger leaves the screen the Crazyflie drops.

Hi Arnaud, I like what you describe as a behavior and would be happy to beta test. My only question is the last one about both fingers leaving the screen and it dropping – do you mean a controlled descent? Drop to the ground? Or drop from whatever height it was at? Well, we can try 'controlled landing' but this is one of the thing that is always a bit tricky: if the Crazyflie has a control problem, it will not be able to land in a controlled manner. Maybe having a soft land would work (the ios app sends a decreasing height setpoint), this will take a couple of seconds and then cut the motors so even if the Crazyflie is in a bad state the motor will cut quite quickly. We can try some kind of controlled landing and see what happens.

This is not something that I am going to have the time to work with unfortunately, though, if anyone is interested I will gladly help if there is any problem with the implementation and merge the pull request when it works :-).
