Radicale color are removed when seting up DavX5

I have had constant issues were DavX5 doesn't sync color for some calendars and then remove them from the Radicale server (https://radicale.org/v3.html). This usually happen with a new install but has also happen when changing a color in DavX5

I just tried a new install of 4.5.8 but have had it with 4.5.3

To remove colors from the server, DAVx5 would need to send PROPPATCH, which isn't even implemented. So I think the problem is rather on client side.

Just to make sure: It's about calendar colors, not about event colors, right?

Can you provide steps to reproduce so that we can have a look?

Did you have a look at https://manual.davx5.com/settings.html#caldav and set the Manage calendar colors as you need it?

Yes it's about calendar colours and not event ones. I have Manage calendar colours enabled and event colour support disabled as I use Google Calendar.

1. Install Radicle https://radicale.org/v3.html
2. Create a logon in Radicale
3. Create multiple calendars, I have left type as calendar, journal and tasks
4. Add account to DavX5
5. Enable Sync every 15 minutes and local changes, Sync all past events, Managed Calendar colours, Contacts as separate vCards
6. Press Refresh list
7. Enable items
8. Press Synchronise now
9. Open Radical web panel and see calendar colours removed

Sounds also like Kozea/Radicale#767 and Kozea/Radicale#1203.

We'll see whether we can manage to set up a Radicale for testing.

I cannot reproduce the problem with the steps above. I have created a purple calendar and it stays purple regardless of whether I access it with DAVx5 or not.

Also DAVx5 doesn't update the calendar color, this feature is not implemented.

So I strongly suspect that this not a DAVx5 problem – maybe a Radicale issue like the ones above, or some other configuration or storage issue.

Odd, since they are only removed when I set up DavX5 , Didn't happen with multiple Thunderbird setups.

I still assume very strongly that it's not related to DAVx5 (rather only a timely coincidence).

If there is a specific hint what DAVx5 does wrong, please feel free to post it here.
