Description
Steps To Reproduce
- Go to bitwarden.com.
- Click on Log In.
Expected Result
The same tab goes to https://vault.bitwarden.com/#/login.
This is the invisibly standard behavior of pretty much every other website I use.
Actual Result
The tab stays on bitwarden.com, and another tab comes up showing https://vault.bitwarden.com/#/login.

This behavior leaves an extra, unwanted, unused tab, contrary to the (usually unwritten) spec common across so very many products. People logging in don't need the generic home page. And it's very easy to get back to the home page when and IF they have a use for it.
I suppose this is actually more a marketing issue than a tech support problem. FAR out of proportion to its effect on my use of bitwarden, it inclines me to complain about bitwarden rather than recommend it, despite all of the product's considerable excellences.
Okay, call it a trivial issue. But it's annoying every single time, and occasionally it makes navigation difficult, especially because someone working with bitwarden is pretty much always working with other sites as well.
And my experience with site developers strongly suggests that changing the log-in process to stay on the same tab is a fairly trivial thing too.
