The J-Link backend for BMDA is known to be problematic at the moment. We will shortly be rewriting this backend like we have for the BMP remote protocol, CMSIS-DAP, FTDI and ST-Link v2 ones so we can bring the code into line with the rest of BMDA and fix several error handling problems it has. We'll update this issue as that work progresses.
