Task-Query: Filter for tasks containing date relative to today in format dd.MM.yyyy

Hello,

I am trying, and failing, to set up several dataviews doing the following:

1. dynamically only display tasks due today, 14.06.2022. Tomorrow, I want the same query to display tasks due 15.06.2022 instead - without having to edit the query anymore
2. dynamically display tasks due within the range [today, X days from now] - meaning for a 3 day window, I want to display tasks due on 14.06.2022 - 16.06.2022, and then this display shifts one day each day.

I so far have not tried dataviewjs, because I am utterly un-informed on JS-syntax. It might as well be black magic, and with exams starting to creep up at the semester's end, I don't really have the time to learn JS from scratch in the near future.

Is there a way to do so?

Have you set up a due date field in your tasks?

Out of curiosity, what is the workaround? And what would the solution be if I would use iso8601 for those specifically?

The solution would be tasks from "folder" where due = date(today) but the workaround would be lengthy. Now that I think of it, I wonder if something is possible using dateformat(). In case you haven't changed your metadata yet, try something like where dateformat(date(today),"DD.mm.yyyy") = due.

with metadata, I assume you meant the due field in this case, right?

That works. Would it be possible to make this cover a span of today + X days? Is date() capable of that?
