How can I save a query in a central location?

I have a number of queries in daily notes, location notes, people notes etc which use dataview.
I sometimes want to change the query in all of those places, and doing so manually is a bit cumbersome.
Is there a way that I can write a query in place, and dataview and call the code from the central location?
