Calling a Command palette action

I was wondering if is possible to call a Command palette action from dataviewjs.
As far as I know QuickAdd does not have a public API and I would like to "somehow" access it / run the macros created there.
It's the only workaround I found, do you know if it's possible?

What I would like to do (if possible) is to port this button to dataviewjs:

What QuickAdd: Append to JSON does is to call a macro I created in QuickAdd that asks for some inputs (name, date, and more) with await QuickAdd.quickAddApi.inputPrompt and then, appends it to a JSON file.

The in dataviewjs I create the button:

I know it's a bit overkill but I wanted to try if it was possible to do. I would say the biggest constraint here is QuickAdd and its not existent public API.

You may be better off rewriting that in templater instead. If you're keen on keeping quickadd, refactor your script to be a CustomJS script (separate plugin) and then use the CustomJS script from both plugins.

Quickadd does have a public API. See the doc: https://quickadd.obsidian.guide/docs/QuickAddAPI.

You can even use Advanced URI call a Quickadd command from outside of Obsidian if you wanted.

It has an API but it is not public, i.e., it is not accessible by other plugins. See chhoumann/quickadd#138.

chhoumann/quickadd#333 seems to add a public API for QuickAdd. I just need to compile it locally to have these changes. So it seems my problem is solved, great timing! 😆
