Querying inline fields

Hi. On my daily note I have

Win:: [[Mark]] created spreadsheet X

Then I want to create a dataview on the [[Mark]] pages which only shows wins with [[Mark]] in it.

I have done the following....

table Win, file.mtime as "Modified"
from [[Mark Muller (team)]]
where contains("Win","")
sort file.mtime DESC

but that shows every win on a daily page mentioning Mark, I just want the Wins that mention mark.

Also, just having: where Win
caused same challenge :(

This isn't what you think it is. Using [[]] in FROM means you're querying all pages that link to the page in the wikilink.

Can you try using the this style I described earlier?

I did....

where win = this.file.link
sort file.mtime DESC

And also got no results

What do you get if you remove the where?

produces an error

where contains(Win, this.file.link)

produces zero results

Remove the where line completely

we already tried that - it's blank
I tried it again - still blank

Perhaps it is a limitation of dataview that the field can only exist once, not multiple times, on a note?

It is not a dataview limitation. You only need to query it differently.
