Queried tasks are unresponsive when clicked

I have been using the following query to view tasks from a generic todo file:

TASK
FROM "Resources/TODO.md"

The query works fine, but when interacting with the queried tasks I have to click twice to check or uncheck them. I'm having this issue on Windows 11 and Android. Does anyone know why this is?

EDIT:
It looks like it could be a rendering issue, or some delay in writing to "Resources/TODO.md".
