Thank you, to every developer who's made this possible.

I've been wanting to write this for a really long time. I've been searching for years for a good writing application.

After trying all the other apps out there, and realizing i write wayy too much — none of them could handle the sheer amount of content lol — I came across this 🟣 shiny purple gem. (back when obsidian had it's old logo. the OGs remember)

Our tools are extensions of us.

Seriously, more people should appreciate the hard work that hyoumin beings put to develop the tools we all use. thank you.

Obsidian is a tool that changed my life, and Dataview made it possible to manage it.

It helped me have a place where i could study alot of important topics & auto-organize them.
I have 10000+ pages of personal & life-saving knowledge that i could not live without.

And i know i'm freaking out & nerdy in this comment, but i really do want to say, thank you to the developers of Obsidian for making this platform exist. & Thank you to the developers who make the most of these tools & put hours of their lives into developing things that are used & help improve the lives of so many human beings.

To me, that is what every programmer should strive for.

You are a very smart person. i have no idea how you created such a large system to handle obsidian's various weird quirks (the Obsidian API is very complex)

But you sir, managed to create a fully-functional query system and I use this ALL THE TIME.

without it, i would not be able to manage all those pages! what i enjoy about dataview is it's build-your-own versatility. It has very strong foundations & you can create pretty much anything you want. I use it for more creative ways such as displaying HTML elements, creating wiki pages etc.

And don't get me started on dataviewjs.
