Exclude Filter Element from Displaying in Table

Apologies if this has been answered somewhere else, but I searched through the documentation and discussions, and couldn't find anything.

Is it possible to use an element as a filter for a table, but not include it in the table? Specifically, I have a table that shows all files with the tag "lists", and tag shows up as a column. I want to display it as a table instead of a list, as there's other information I want to see. I just don't need to see the tags.

You can reference fields that you don't show in a table.

TABLE blah, blah blah FROM "balh"
WHERE contains(file.tags, "#lists")
