Tags in Metadata not always parsed

I am having a problem making queries with tags, I am not sure if this is a bug or a mistake on my end.\

For some reason, this doesn't always work in files, but when I use tags anywhere else in the file it works as expected. For example, this doesn't work.

It returns this.

But this works.

Does it works if you prepend # to the tags? Or use a comma separated list instead of a YAML list (yes, no without brackets)?

No, adding a # to the tags doesn't work. If by comma seperated list you mean To-do/OdinProject , Projects in YAML then no it also doesn't work, but adding {{!tags: #To-do/OdinProject , #Projects , #Dates/OdinProject }} outside of YAML works.

I am just confused because it seems to be working for some tags, and simply not working for others. Is this something other people hae encountered?

I am having a similar problem. I have tags in YAML like this

My query is this

dataview TABLE initialdate as "Date", position as "Position", state AS "Location", ewelambs as "Ewe Lambs", ewes as "Ewes", ramlambs as "Ram Lambs" , rams as "Rams", confirmed as "Confirmed" , deposit as "Deposit", purchased as "Purchased" FROM #dataview/sheepsales SORT position
If the tag is in the YAML the note does not show up in the table but if I add the tag in the body of the note as #dataview/sheepsales then the notes DO end up in the table.

Not sure why this is happening because in other places I can do a pull of notes using the YAML tags.

ps I tried to add the YAML and query as codeblocks but they are not formatting that way, sorry.
