Describe the problem you are having

Frigate restart issue:

When i use the "frigate restart" option in the Frigate UI, when i click the cog > Restart Frigate . If I have the watchdog enabled This works

If I use the "Restart" option in the Frigate add-on it restarts without issue even without the watchdog, enabled.

What do you mean "if I have the watchdog enabled"?

Frigate uses Docker, and Docker has a restart policy. If this "watchdog" changes the restart policy, then what you are seeing is expected if you disable it.

Here watchdog is disabled in the addon.

Yes, it is required. Home Assistant supervisor will not restart a process that has exited unless the watchdog is enabled.
