Strange go2rtc behavior

Consistently - and by consistently I mean every time - I start frigate, go2rtc runs with low usage metrics for exactly 10 minutes, and then steps up to the higher level that it "normally" runs at. Anyone else see this or know why it does it?

This is v17, but it did it with v16 also.

You'll want to check what streams are being consumed. Maybe that's how long it takes for Home Assistant (assuming you're using that) to connect.

I thought about that, but behavior does not seem to correlate.

If I watch http://myfrigate:1984, all the streams get configured immediately after relaunch. I also watched the HA dashboard and the camera feeds come up within seconds of a frigate restart.

It is exactly 10 minutes after the frigate restart that the go2rtc usage metric jumps from ~20% to 50%+.
