There has been no communication from Switchbot. As long as they are operating according to the trademark policy, there aren't any issues with them building a commercial offering that includes Frigate. |

Thanks for clarifing! I'm curious to know about the platform itself and especially their claim about Frigate support. I may order a unit for myself to test and play with. |

It's a little box with some sort of container support. It's not possible to use a number of extensions on HA and the advertised limit is 6 TOPS, which is not a ton. I'm suspecting this is likely a Rockchip SOC but only because it seems to match the specs of this hardware. https://youtu.be/XzFCYIgmJpU -- Paul Hibbert (Hibbert Home Tech) Even if it did work as advertised it's got a 32GB internal drive, if you want more you have to use microSD or USB3, neither of which is great for streaming high-resolution cameras. |

Thanks, that are some real caveats. Guess I ditch it then. |

Hi,
I was wondering what kind of involvement or coop there is between SwitchBot and Frigate. SwitchBot announced their "AI Hub" a few months ago (or so) and it now seem to be available: https://eu.switch-bot.com/products/switchbot-ai-hub
They claim to have Frigate (AI) support:
Cheers,
Cedric
