fEVR frigate Event Video Recorder

fEVR - frigate Event Video Recorder (pronounced fee-ver) that expands upon what frigate can do.

Backend

• Home Assistant automation sends a JSON file to fEVR's REST-like interface
• fEVR fetches information via frigate's HTTP api and stores it independently from frigate for long term retention:
  • score
  • snapshot
  • video clip
• fEVR stashes information from the JSON into an SQLite database

Frontend

• fEVR fetches frigate's config from its HTTP api
  • uses config to populate menu
    • camera
      • live view (frigate MJPEG stream)
      • each tracked object
    • link to frigate itself

This project is available as a standalone docker image or as a hass.io addon.
