• Based on feedback, we have a new flow to make the trial more clear and to compare pricing in plans more easily.
• For first time users, we have a better walkthrough and first commands to help get start.

We are adding two new interface elements that will be part of new Blink functionality in the next months:

• We are replacing the three finger bar with something more extensible, a new menu for quick actions. You can trigger it by double tapping the Cmd key in both software and hardware keyboards. You can also open it with a new gesture, double tap the Home Bar on iPhone or iPad.

• We are adding Snips as a quick way to launch CLI commands. You can read our introduction https://docs.blink.sh/basics/snips.

We need a lot of feedback and help with these two. Here are some things we would like you to test and gather your feedback:

• Immediacy of the interface for the new Quick Actions bar and Snips. Is it a convenient shortcut? Is it obtrusive?
• Feedback on current Snips for the Default Index. Feedback on naming, structure, etc…
• Suggestions for more Snips and more Indexes. Ie, we think we could have an Index for Linux commands where we could go deeper on more specific actions. Same for Mac or Windows commands. Development tools: Rust, JS, etc...
• Should we execute the command as it is sent?
• We want snips to be easily shared and extended over GitHub. Snips are automatically updated from GitHub. But we want your feedback on how you think will be easier to make PRs so everyone can benefit from them without dealing with a repository. Maybe a link to Share that could automatically create a PR?

Blink v16.2.1 update

• It is important to make Blink feel like home. We added an additional Support Request flow during the trial period.
• Allow spaces in user name.
