External German Keyboard - Pipe symbol non functional

Dear all,

I am using Blink Shell v17.1.0.854 with an external Bluettoth Keyboard.
Outside blink, the Pipe Symbol works fine with pressing option/alt + 7.

But when launching Blink Shell, option + 7 does not any longer work and I am wondering what I miss in the config to get it working.

I tried as well a Custom Press in this way:

Interesting wise, the Showkey does not trigger when pressing the option key/alt key. Tried some other keys to see if working in general, e.g. option + n to get the tilde ~ is doing fine.

blink> showkey
Press any keys - Ctrl-D will terminate this program.
