code on iPad w/MagicKeyboard

I’ve been trying to use Blink code on my iPad/Magic Keyboard and it does not behave correctly (remote connections, opening folders, etc) until I rotate the iPad into portrait mode which makes the keyboard unusable. Anyone know of a fix for this?

Hi! There should be no connection at all between device orientation and functionality of remote connections, etc... Could you send a video so I can see exactly what you are experiencing?

Thanks a lot for the video. I see now what you are saying and although I couldn't replicate it, I'm afraid that this probably falls into VS Code territory. Blink Code is just a wrapping layer to offer better software keyboard, better placement and connection with the rest of the Blink experience, but it still just serving you vscode.dev or GitHub Codespaces or others behind the scenes.

There may be a way for you to "workaround" it though without having to fully rotate the device. We have seen that sometimes VS Code reacts differently to "touch" and to "mouse clicks", and I think this may be one of those cases. Would you mind trying to "tap" that button instead of "clicking" it or controlling it with the keyboard? That may allow the event to go through.
