In the settings pane, under Mosh, there is a text field called “Command” for entering a custom command upon connection.
Entering a command with an option argument prefixed by two dashes triggers iOS’ “smart dashes” text input feature and replaces the double-dash with an em-dash.
I recommend setting the smartDashesType to .no for this field (or equivalently blocking this substitution) so it is not mistaken for a font character ligation as in the attached screenshot.
