Goose unable to tool call with a custom vLLM endpoint

Hello team! I really appreciate help with an issue using custom vLLM endpoint with Qwen3 model

It is aware of the tools, but unable to use them.

However, I am able to list & use the prompts of mcp server

OS: Linux / Tumbleweed / x86_64

Update: Tried with ibm-granite/granite-3.1-8b-instruct tool calls fail while they work in mcphost with same enpoint

I would think this is model related.
