bmad commands disappearing in claude code

After spending several hours debugging, I found the root cause of why Bmad commands might disappear.

If you add the bmad/ folder to your .gitignore file and then use Claude's /exit command, the next time you run claude, all bmad commands won't show up.

Solution:

Remove bmad/ from your .gitignore file (or comment it out)
Use the /exit command to properly exit Claude
Restart claude - the commands should now appear correctly

Hope this saves someone else from the same troubleshooting headache!
