80x40 10S panel with SM16208/SM5166

Hi,

I'm having trouble getting any light from my 80x40 10S panel. According to the seller, it is equipped with SM16169SH and ICND1018AP, and the LEDs are driven by 60x SM16208S. Unfortunately, I can't see the main controller chips because they are all covered by the supports. I would like to get it working with either Blackpill STM32F401 or a generic 2040.

I've tried all (both) the 4-mux 80x40 templates, but the panel is pitch black.

To understand how to work with the panel, you need to know exactly the type of the driver.
Unfortunately, your data is contradictory. You specified two different divers that cannot be used together - SM16169 and SM16208.

The chips on the panel in reality are MW245B SM5166PF and SM16208SJ. I had to cut one of the support rods, to read the SM5166PF from the chip.

So your panel is fully compatible with the library.
Try dmd_rgb_pattern_test.ino example. Use exact connection as in the example code, do not change the pins.
