enable network stats

I've noticed that you have not merged the network-stas branch yet "https://github.com/bobf/skep/tree/network-stats". Do you have plans to merge it soon? I guess it would be very useful.

@mahmoud-ashi I had completely forgotten about that branch - thanks for reminding me. Agree it would be useful to see network activity on nodes. I will try to get this merged soon-ish.
