[Security Notice Update] Clarification on Release v3.1.3 (Windows Binaries)

Following our previous announcement regarding potential malware infection in the Windows binary files of Release v3.1.3 (2025.9.29), we would like to provide an important update.

Clarification on Detection

• The Windows .zip release files were reported by Windows Defender as infected with Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml.

• However, after extensive testing with multiple third-party antivirus and malware scanning tools, no infection or malicious code was detected.

• Based on this verification, we have concluded that the earlier detection was a false positive caused by Windows Defender.

Impact on Downloads

• During this period, some users experienced random download failures due to the false detection.

• To prevent further inconvenience, we have changed the release file compression format from .zip to .7z. This avoids triggering the false positive while ensuring safer downloads.

Action for Users

• If you previously downloaded the .zip files and encountered warnings, you may safely use the new .7z archives from the Release Page.

• No additional cleanup is required if antivirus scans with other tools show no infection.

検知結果の確認

• Windows 用の .zip 配布ファイルが Windows Defender により Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml として検知されました。

• しかし、複数の 他社製アンチウイルス・マルウェア検査ツールで広範にテストした結果、感染や悪意あるコードは一切確認されませんでした。

• これにより、今回の検知は Windows Defender による誤検知と結論づけました。

ダウンロードへの影響

• この誤検知により、一部のユーザーが ランダムにダウンロード障害を経験しました。
• ユーザーの不便を回避するため、配布ファイルの圧縮形式を .zip から .7z に変更しました。これにより誤検知を回避し、安全なダウンロードが可能となります。
