Why is the datatype not included in the SymbolCrc polynomial?

Hello,
I have tried using the SymbolCrc calculation included in your source code and it does not match the expected SymbolCrc for read / write requests. It is my understanding that the data type should also be included? Otherwise, the checksum could only detect changes to the tag name, not the data type. Is this a legacy calculation? Do you have any further information?

Symbols' CRC digests aren't a part of authentication itself so I don't exactly remember how it's done. I think that you need to use the full name of a tag (including datablock name/index and whatnot). I might dig something up about it if you still need it.

@buffyslays @bonk-dev Can you please tell me how the format with datatype to calculate CRC will look like?
Say TEST.UINT or Data Block.TEST.UINT etc I am not clear how to pass the input and find the symbol CRC
