Add release automation e.g. via semantic-release

Thanks for the great library 👏 

I've noticed that the last release on NPM was ~2 years ago. Would you be open to accept a PR to add semantic-release, so that any PR into the master branch would automatically be released via NPM? This might make community additions/changes easier to manage. https://github.com/semantic-release/semantic-release
