Is it possible to use Vorta only as a repo viewer and for occasional file restore?

I have been using borg for years so taking backups from selected dirs with selected excludes with my special archive naming policy, pruning & checking repos are all already automated through bash scripts and cron.

A GUI would still be handy for occasional repo / archive content browsing and file / dir restore either to original location or to another location.

Is this type of use case possible with Vorta or do I e.g. have to define the source dirs even if I do not intend to create any archives with Vorta, only occasional restore? I do not want to duplicate source dir definitions to several places.

Yes, I use it for that sometimes to restore backups from NAS.
