Implement case hardening model #201
Description
User story
As a pyLife user I want to model case hardened geometries into my mesh, so that I can adjust my Wöhler parameters according to the local hardness in order to calculate damage behavior of case hardened components.
Requirements (open for discussion)
- Implement a module that takes hardness/depth data and fits an error function to it
- Calculate the error function from parameters "core hardness", "surface hardness", "case hardening depth" and another parameter defining the sharpness of the gradient.
- Write a jupyter notebook that documents the usage.
