i am attempting to get GOG v1 working in bottles and this single dependency has locked me from even installing it

Same problem here!
Even if you continue using this bottle and try to manually install any dependencies, it keeps trying to download until it fails.
Because of this, it's impossible to use the bottle in any other way!
I spent all day yesterday trying and they all failed!

https://sourceforge.net/projects/corefonts/
and moved them to the temp folder in .var/app/com.usebottles.bottles/data/bottles/temp
Run the installer repeatedly so that each package is installed.
