NPM not working. npm run start nor npm run deploy. I don't remember changing anything in the code. I just wanted to update my file

That could happen even if another project I'm following you on is working? I have to projects open right now using visual studio. I can't use npm updates with this one and the one I'm doing with React works just fine. Thank you for responding, William Watts (Braillon7) 937-825-8454

It seems that node-sass package is outdated.
Instead of using node-sass, just install sass
npm install sass
and in the package.json change scripts to "sass": "sass --watch scss:dist/css "
