I measured these on a shelly and fibaro plug, so not too sophisticated:

of the 290 is the wattage of the light connected to the plug.
Maybe you can use this for a new data model?

You may PR this if you want. Just copy LMO002 directory and alter model.json accordingly.

not sure how to handle the templated value of the actual attached device ?

You can't because we cannot know what the wattage is of the device attached. The user needs to configure that themself. So for your use case the approach you did with the fixed strategy and a template is fine.

With this PR a seperate power sensor will be created which only shows the device self usage. 0.25 when off and 0.92 when on.

ok, makes me think:
we can ofc create a dummy sensor for the attached light and give it the 0/290 power rating, based o the state of the LOM001 switch...

Ill do the PR for it now.
