Powercalc looking at the wrong sensors for energy and power

Hi and thanks for this beatiful integration!
I'm having problems with Powercalc looking at the wrong entities for Power and Energy.
I've tried disabling powercalc for this entity and I have also tried disabling the device all together, nothing works.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is in my configuration.yaml :

And this is the sensors being created:

The energy entity is called sensor.lite_kjoleskap_energy
The created utility meters looks like this:
sensor.lite_kjoleskap_device_energy_daily

The expected result would be that the created entities did not have "Device" in its name:
sensor.lite_kjoleskap_energy_daily

I have tried setting create_utility_meter: false, restarting HA and removing the Unavailable entities, but when i set create_utility_meter: true the exact same entities with Device both in name and entity_id are recreated.

These "device" sensors are added by auto discovery. They indicate the self usage of the device (that's why they are called "Device power/energy") to avoid conflicts with the build-in energy sensor.

When you don't want these extra sensors delete the entry from the powercalc list in integrations.
Or toggle create utility meters off if you don't want those created.

It's a bit strange you cannot disable them via the GUI and they are re-appearing after startup. I'll need to have a look into that if I can reproduce this.

I see.
So my confusion is the Device Power and Device Energy sensors created for devices that already report Energy And Power.
So, how shold I handle these devices? I love how Powercalc autodiscovers my devices and create utility_meters so to disable it would be really unfortunate (I have a lot of devices/lights).
Is there a way I can exclude the creation of Device Energy and Device Power for devices that already report this? And still create utility_meters pointing to the correct Energy sensor?

The Device Energy is based on Device Power which is not correct as seen in the first image in this thread.

The power sensor powercalc creates for your smart plug are exclusively for the self-usage (standby power) of the smart plug.
Most smart plugs do not include this power, so that's where powercalc kicks in, because it is also part of you full house energy consumption.
So also the energy sensor (which data is derived from the power sensor) and utility meter (derived from energy sensor) are specifically for the self usage of the smart plug.

So ultimately your question is how to add utility meters for the power and energy sensors provided by the smart plug itself.
You can just do that using the utility meter helper of HA (Devices & Services -> Helpers -> Add helper -> Utility meter).
Or you can use powercalc to do the job using this configuration:

sensor:
  - platform: powercalc
    entity_id: sensor.dummy
    power_sensor_id: sensor.myplug_power
    energy_sensor_id: sensor.myplug_energy
    create_utility_meters: true
