Standby/Off Power With Light & Smart Relay - Erroneous Behaviour?

I have dumb light bulbs and smart switches or smart relays in most of my house. I had previously set up manual virtual power sensors for my light bulbs. The Sonoff ZBMINI was recently added to the library, which I use for most of my relays, so I set up the ZBMINIs in PowerCalc also.

However, I have noticed that my Powercalc light bulb entities now display/record a standby/off power that is is the same as the ZBMINI standby power - 0.33 W instead of zero. For example my bathroom light bulbs draw 6.8W and have a ZBMINI installed. I set up a virtual power manually for the bulbs, and a virtual power from the library for the ZBMINI. They both use the Bathroom Lights source entity. The bulbs power now show as 0.33 W off and 6.8 W on, instead of 0 W off and 6.8 W.

Is this the expected behaviour or is this a bug? I didn't want to raise an issue as this is the first time I have tried to record both light bulb and smart relay at the same time, I wasn't sure how it is supposed to work. My virtual power entities for dumb bulbs with different relays don't exhibit this behaviour.

The built-in profiles for smart switches purpose is to get insights in the self usage of the smart switch.
They all consume a bit of power even when turned off because of zigbee radio and other cirtuitry which is active.

I though I had build a extra dialog after discovery where you could fill in the value of the connected appliance, so you could fill in 6.8 there.
And that would give a power sensor reading 0.33 when off and 6.8 + 0.49 when on.
Where did you get this 6.8 value anyhow? Is it rated wattage of your bulb or did you measure it?

Not sure why you have two power entities now.
Could you share the diagnostic of the two config entries using the three dots?

Sorry for not replying to this, life got in the way of home automation for a bit.

I was trying to create separate power entities for the smart relay and the light bulbs - because I want to track power usage of smart devices themselves separately from light bulbs etc. I had created power sensors for the light bulbs first. The 6.8W figure I measured with the bulbs connected to a hardware power meter. I then created another power sensor foe the Zigbee smart relay connected to the bulbs.

I've attached the diagnostics files for the two configs.

I see your issue and can reproduce, however it is not an easy fix. Will have a look later when I have more time.

The problem is power profile will be loaded when manufacturer and model is known regardless if you manually configured the sensor.
This causes to override some config properties (in this case standby_power) by the props provided by the power profile from library.

Just released v1.6.0-beta.4 which should fix your problem.
Are you able to test this?

IMPORTANT
The beta also has a new mechanism to calculate powercalc group energy. It's highly advised to create a backup of your HA first, just in case your statistics gets messed up.

I have just tested the beta, and yes it seems to have solved the issue. The lights are 0W when off, and 6.8W when on. Thanks for looking at this, I look forward to the next stable release!
