Manually calculate Historical Energy Data

I have made PowerCalc sensor (manual fixed) for my Water heater that is controlled via Homeassistant. This Sensor works as expected but I want to update the Energy sensor data so that it also includes the energy used before I created the powercalc sensor.

Is this possible?

Try to use calibrate service:

I have calculated the energy figures using a spreadsheet and set the final value using the calibrate service.

But it does not seem to be possible to edit the values from the past. I tried using the "Adjust a statistic" function in the Developer Tab but it only lets you change values and not add new entries before the sensor was first created.
If this is possible using code or another function of HASS I would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

Pretty sure you can't with HASS, but you could just insert records directly in DB in statistics and statistics_short_term tables if you really want to rewrite history.
