Signify LLC006 (Living colors iris gen3)

I have finished measuring this lamp (attached). However even when i create a LLC006 directory with the files here:
/root/config/homeassistant/custom_components/powercalc/data/signify/LLC006

I still get an error during boot
Skipping sensor setup light.livingcolors_1: Model not found in library (manufacturer: Signify Netherlands B.V., model: LLC006)

What could the explanation be?

Strange. I don't see any issues.

Which version of powercalc are you using?
Other light models are still working correctly?
How does you configuration look of this light?

Yes this is expected. When the manufacturer is "Signify Netherlands B.V." it should look in "signify" directory.
So it should work in both cases. manual configuration and the auto discovery.

There must be some issue in checking the directory existence. You are 100% sure you have put it in the right directory?
What happens if you rename "LTW010" directory for example? Does that one also break or still work.
Maybe it's some permission issue where the directory has wrong permissions and HA is unable to read it.

Sorry for the confusion. I am a bit inexperienced with running homeassistant as a virtual machine. Mistankingly put the files under addons/ insted of under config/custom_components. Its working fine now!
Is there a way to add it to the next release?

Hi you can create a PR if you want. You did that before right?

Yes but had quite a bit of trouble doing it... Is there a step by step guide to checkout, branching and PR?

There are plenty of tutorials on the internet, just google it. I am using the CLI commands of git which is kind of advanced anyway. But you also have plenty of GUI tools available. https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=github+fork+pull+request
When you are unable to do it I will make a PR this weekend.
