Pain points to overcome!

• Finding Bayonet socket lamps here is nearly impossible, even though there are tonnes of cheap bayonet bulbs on shelves.
• Reliable power meters (Arlec PC191HA, PC287HA give 0 readings (power, current, but voltage OK) jasonacox/tuyapower#25)

You don't need a full lamp to do the measurements. Just a fitting with a power cable attached would suffice right?

Surprisingly, no. I went through a few big box retailers, three antique stores (where I found examples with more rust than safety!). I can get the parts, if I'm a qualified electrician or at least promise to have one glue them qll together.
Goal at the moment: find q cheap lamp that wont kill me.

I think I have a few of these lights that I can test as well. Have a test rig setup as well. Will see what I have and start testing. There is lots of Tuya-based light in Australia but I have from Genio ones to be the best for Cloudcutting.

G'day all, I've started measuring I002741 and have had success with color_mode, however, even though the light reports to support hs color (checked developer tools > states > attributes), it doesn't respond to any hs changes.

Any ideas what the cause is? If I change the light wheel via the UI, the hs value changes, that seems to work? But changing the hs value via Dev tools > set state fails, and when powercalc is changing hs attributes, the light just remains off.

I also have no clue, powercalc measure tool is just using the HA services to control the light. When that is not working correctly it's a bug in the integration controlling the light. I also don't use tuya devices myself so can't really support on this.
Would suggest to raise issue report on LocalTuya custom componetns.
