Hello,

I am actually migrating a project from DigitalOcean to AWS Infrastructure.
The project is composed of :

• Front : Angular
• Back : Laravel

When deploying the back with the help of Serverless on local, everything is working fine.

I have decided to automate it in gitlab CI/CD.
When deploying the back from gitlab CI/CD, I have errors while consuming my api endpoints.

There is no existing directory at "/var/task/storage/logs"

This error should not appear as Bref should forward the logs to CloudWatch.

The most strange is that everything works fine when I deploy it from my local machine.

Hi! My guess is that some of your local files, probably .env, is being uploaded to Lambda. That wouldn't be the case in Gitlab CI deployments.

I'm getting exactly same issue as you got.
Could you please give me some advice?

It's working fine when I deploy on local but it doesn't work when I do it using gitlab cicd.
I checked the environment variables on lambda and they are same for both case.

Do you have the Bref Laravel bridge installed too?

Does your config or .env file force the logs to go to a specific file? (maybe some .env config overrides the Bref Laravel bridge auto-config)

If you use Laravel,
First you should check LOG_CHANNEL in .env and make sure that value is stack
Second you should add one more step before deployment and run this command: php artisan config:clear

For anyone who comes upon this page in search for an answer, whenever I hit this error error, it is frequently solved by:
$php artisan config:clear
...and/or...
$php artisan cache:clear
Note that if you're using serverless, I've had to execute these commands in my development environment, NOT via a serverless/bref artisan command on the server.
