Request to backport fix from Issue #2265 to 6.3.4

Hi ,

First of all, thank you for the great work on HikariCP.

I noticed that the fix related to Issue #2265 addresses an important problem that we are also having.

Would it be possible to backport this fix into a 6.3.4 (or 6.3.x) maintenance release?

This would our teams relying on the 6.3 branch (linked to spring boot 3.5.x) to benefit from the correction without having to upgrade to a newer major version immediately.
